Spammers have to go, too.

September 24th, 2003

It’s pretty crazy how completely amoral spammers are, as demonstrated by this capitulation letter from monkeys.com, and this one from compu.net. There’s also this article at PCWorld.com reporting the incredibly strong correlation between virus infected machines and spam. Both have been driven off by spammers DDoSsing them repeatedly. If you needed more proof that spammers [...]

Bush. Has. Got. To. Go.

September 23rd, 2003

Somebody, anybody, please, beat him in the election next year. I’d goddamned take Arnie over Shrub in a fragile Austrian heartbeat, if it is the only way to keep Shrub out of office. Here is Bush’s speech today to the UN, where he shows exactly how much of a morally bankrupt prat he is next [...]

Windows is driving me crazy

September 17th, 2003

I have a new 802.11g card for my machine, and XP keeps forgetting the Wireless settings every two or three minutes. Damn, mail is hard

September 16th, 2003

Don’t say you weren’t warned…

September 15th, 2003

This is the crap I’m talking about. Bush and Ashcroft are a dangerous pair of men. Our civil liberties are almost gone in most of the important areas, and the good men and women of the Fourth Estate can’t get their collective nose out of Karl Rove’s ass long enough to smell the change in [...]

Must blog

September 13th, 2003

Because the page is empty. Why is it empty? I’ve frankly been sulking: the country is worse than I could have ever really imagined. Bush really has me both stupefied and angry. It doesn’t help, the books I’ve been reading: Al Franken’s Lies & The Lying Liars Who Tell Them, Joe Conason’s Big Lies, and [...]

It’s morning now

September 13th, 2003

Well, afternoon, but I got to sleep late last night, and I have the mother of all sore throats, so I sort of slept in. Let’s just say I’m awake and have had some sleep. My mood? Not much better. That’s what you get when you have a cold, I suppose. The Mariners won last [...]
