You must not permit Palin to become VP

October 31st, 2008

This is why, among other excellent reasons. But that level of constitutional ignorance, coupled with that sort of audacity, is beyond acceptable. Very Bush, very Cheney, but somehow even more stupid. She doesn’t know what the Constitution is for. She doesn’t know what the 1st Amendment is for. She doesn’t know what a right is. [...]

I’ve posted about this before

October 30th, 2008

And here’s the latest chart: Democratic states are supporting the Republican states.

Congratulations Jamie (and Kel)

October 29th, 2008

The Phillies win the World Series. I was rooting for them, even though I’m an AL guy, because dammit, Moyer deserved it. Well done.

Maybe it’s time for some political venting

October 23rd, 2008

I originally started this blog to vent about politics: Bush drives me so crazy, and I couldn’t hold it in. McCain drives me crazy, as I’ve mentioned before, too: I’m no Johnny-Come-Lately to the anti-McCain camp. I’m not even an “Old Principled McCain” vs “New Candidate McCain” critic, who is somehow attempting to appear as [...]

Man

October 16th, 2008

BJ Upton is a monster. An absolute monster. And I’ve known this for a few years now, because I read USS Mariner, and Baseball Prospectus. 30 Rock is actually really good

October 12th, 2008

And I’m allergic to network commercials; most commercials, actually. But 30 Rock is actually really funny.

October 6th, 2008

Another great game. It’s nice to watch teams that can hit the ball. I wish the M’s realized that getting guys that can hit the ball, and that can take a walk every now and then, might be a winning strategy.

Yeah, Apple can’t sync

October 6th, 2008

It’s not just MobileMe. My iPhone, syncing with my mac, will often take forever. It regularly craps out on Contacts, Bookmarks, or Photos. Photos, hey, it may be a lot of data, I can understand. But Contacts? Bookmarks? I’ve seen it sit there for half an hour on Bookmarks. What. The. Hell? Apple has to [...]

Done with MobileMe

October 6th, 2008

Done and done. It sucks rocks, always has, and I officially hate it. Saying that MobileMe syncing sucks shit is an insult to cacophiliacs everywhere. Essentially, it has shown zero ability to keep my contacts synced without fucking them up. I have two macs and an iPhone, a 100% Apple environment, and MobileMe cannot keep [...]
